Hi all,

Talking to a friend tonight who's going through a divorce and wondered if anyone knows the answer to a question.

If the other person has moved out from the family home, he is still entitled to have keys and access to that property but for what period?

Cheers

Vijay

until he has no finacial attachment to the home, unless there is a violence issue, then he can be stopped from coming.

that makes sense. She was under the impression it was 2 years from when he moved out. She's under the impression that she can change the locks after the 2 years and he can't do anything about it.

2 years is the time for legal seperation.

if hes still paying/owns the house then he is still entitled to access to that property, unless a court order says otherwise.
