June 29, 200520 yr Having wondered the eternal question of 'how many zeds are out there', I decided to give the DVLA a try. They sent me to the DfT, and a nice man there (Mike Dark) kindly looked it up on the computer. These figures are for all models - i.e. anything that matched 300zx. So here's the figures as at the end of March: 4601 originally registered 1659 still registered (including mine that's still with Ryan - hint hint) 691 with a SORN 461 between keepers - they don't know yet if they're scrapped, SORN or 'under new management'. He reckons for their age, it's about average for the amount scrapped. That's 2942 dead zeds  No wonder you don't see many on the roads then!
