I talked to a jeweler about custom jewelry to create a all metal silver key to look exactly like the titanium key, he's creating the mold now and it's going to cost me $45 for the mold and first key, if it turns out good he said he can make more key blanks (cause he'd have the mold from mine) that he can create replicas for $20 each

 

I'll post pics later of how it turns out, if it turns out good anyone else intrested?

Titanium is renound for being lite and very strong. Silver is heavier but not sure if it is up to the job.

actually my post came out a lil wrong, I meant to say silver metal key, not the silver alloy, silver is too soft for a key, I've already talked to him over about it, Stainless steel would probably be the best choice, but he's looking everythings over, and let's see how the first one turns out, I'll post pictures before I get it cut to test in my car
