just reading this faq on the "boost jets" in the faq section

if you put these restrictors in the line for the pressure to build up higher would this not cause more turbo lag?

also are the 300zx turbos sequential or not?

thanks

Dont know about the turbo lag, but the turbos arent sequential.

no - turbo lag is how long the turbos take to spool up. the jets restrict the wastegates from opening up and therefore allow higher max boost

yea but at higher pressures does it not take the turbos longer to spool up because the pressure needs to build up?

oh another quick one, are the turbos ceramic blades or steel?

no i would imagine it would take the same amount of time to reach standard boost with or without jets, then keep going (with jets) over that until you reach the new max (eg. 14psi or whatever). i could be wrong tho :D

Technically, it'll take longer to spool to 14psi than 10psi - but the difference is really pretty negliable with healthy standard turbos. So negliable that you won't even notice it IMHO.

Stock tubs are steel btw, not ceramic.
