how does it attatch to the rear, and will it need trimming or modifying?

also does the panel with the brake light have a compatible connection so it connects straight to my old connector?

You will need the black sealing stuff that you will find a barsteward to get off. as for the other questions the replacement panel should just plug straight in using existing connectors.HTH P.s you will also get more help if you subscribe. :D :D :D

The blue circled ones are what you'll have on yours (the red ones are additional for what was on mine) The new perspex panel comes with a rubber seal going all round the top edge, and a foam seal all over the back. You get two threaded fixings and four blue plastic push-in fixings, which are all inter-changeable. The plastic one just push into the square holes (see pic above) but there wont be four of these, prob only three, hence the threaded ones. Just drill a suitable hole in the place where the fourth would have been, and it'll help to fasten it tight. It also comes with two fixed threaded fixings either side of the brake lamp. The brake lamp plug will fit directly to your existing female plug in the boot lid.
