Hi All,

ย

After reading advice on the forum I've been using only Optimax on my zed since I got it. It seems to work fine and has cured the fuel smell that I used to get, (I assume).

ย

I've noticed that Tesco is now selling Super unleaded with 99 octane. Should I swap? Would it make a difference in performance / MPG?

Do a search for TESCO or 99ron and have a read up fella...

I have switched and am saving ยฃ40 a month and getting more miles to the gallon....I do 2000+ miles a month :D

As for performance...Its not any worse than optimax and I expect its a little better but your not really gonna feel the difference apart from in your wallet.

I think this fuel is mainly in the south east at the mo but will be spreading nationwide judging by its popularity I see at the pumps with all the bLiNg cars at tescos now.

ย

As for the cleaners in the fuel....I think most fuels have cleaners in now and see no reason why this would be any different for 99ron.
