went to spalding tonight, blasting along, as you do in the middle of nowhere saw the usuall white lines too late, looked up to see the yellow camera partly concealed by a tree, it was like that first dry fart after a bout of the shits, someone had burnt the bugger out... thanks buddy whoever you are, i.o.u. three points. :xxx:

Hat off to anyone burning an unfair speed camera (not that many are 'fair'!)

The speed camera just outside of Cheltenham on the old london road was pulled out of the ground by a tractor driver..... i dont know why being as he could never break the speed limit in it but i thank him. :dance:

Plenty of stories about reduced speed limits - if the reduction is sensible fair enough but far too many seem pointless.

 

On hols in Cornwall last week the entire length of the road between Camelford and Bodmin has been changed to 50mph from 60mph?? Why - it's a perfectly safe, normal rural b-road. Wide and quiet enough but with a few bends, the trouble now is those (old) fekkers who always drive at 10-15 below what ever the limit is now do 35 along it:mad:

 

Plus the 30mph limit on the A39 either side of Camelford has been extended over a mile outside of the town boundaries despite there being no houses or kids to run over. It's so frustrating and unnecessary.
