no its a manual, and not long uprated the cluch on it as well.

it's like hitting the limiter.

check tps values i found when tps was out id get power then it was like hiting a wall tps should read 0.44 0.55v

sounds like the ecu has been programmed incorectly....dissconect the battery for an hour , reconnect and try again drive it like you stole it as the ecu will re learn your driving style ..good luck mate

the tps how would i read this, and should it be running when i take this reading wear should i take the reading from. believe it or not i have cut into this wire (at the ecu end, thick white one) for my super afr and had a problem when i put the ecu back in, but i managed to push the wires in and it runs ok but hit this problem at hi revs, was hoping i dont have to touch it again.

will also try dissconecting the battery.

to check tps you need a multi meter connect the black to a good earth and use the live probe and push it in tps connctor centre wire IIRC whilst engine running check tps value if its out a lot from 0.44 the ajust via 2 8mm screws on tps and move slowly until value is approx 0.44 if you have cut into the wire form the ecu side then id double check connections,as im sure you would notice tps out at low revs!

ok thanks greg, i'll do that the weekend, come to think of it i have never had my timing checked. ill let you's know how i get on.

what about safetyboost? 9 psi is a bit low is it not? if your running boost jets. its worth checking tps and timing anyway

9 psi is normal boost. 5 Psi is Saftey. With boost jets you should be looking at 12psi plus. Have you checked for boost leaks?
