I can't tell you how much this is p1ssing me off. People never getting back to you, people taking 10 times longer than they said to do something, people promising to do something then turns out they just can't be bothered.

 

These people don't deserve to even be in business.

Got to agree. I took the day off work yesterday to have some work done on my van, guy said it would be ready at end of today, guess what? Its not ready. Still waiting for a phone call from him looks like I will be out of work for another day as I rely on it for work. Just glad I have my trusty zed to get me about in the mean time.

i no what you all mean , my team of fitters was assaulted yesterday at work by mob, they held there cool and didnt retaliate, not once even though one of them was punched twice, in the face, and if we had hit back ,we would of bin sacked and even worse the whole site would have been closed, as if that wasnt bad enough, we were all given 2 days off no pay ,untill comunity liason officer has calmed things down ,, wtf, we loose allround, ffs

My new wheels, being painted. Dropped them off last thurs and he said ready for sat.......then monday.......then tuesday....... wednesday, thurs and now friday. I'm thinking do I have a go? Do I then get a "not bothered about it" job?

Drove a couple of hours to a bodyshop in Southend, told guy what I wanted, was going to be £2-£3k of work, didn't even call me back. Do I call him up and tell him he's a time-wasting ar5ehole?

Emails never get replied to, messages left on answerphones never get called back...... its a joke.

 

 

Totally agree with ya mate. My zed's been in to the garage have the turbo's taken out and replaced. That was on the 4th April this year and I still ain't got it back! We'd done most the work of unbolting and taking bits off the engine before they collected it so all they really had to do was take the engine and gearbox out. After telling us it'd be done within a week, 3 weeks later they still hadn't even started work on it. Then they got the turbo's out, I sorted out some new ones asap(so they didn't have to worry about them) and gave them to them to fit and they promised to have it ready for me just less than a month go. Since then I've kept ringin them only to be be told "yeh it'l be monday at the latest.." "should be ready Friday" etc. totally pee'd off with it. :headvswal :headvswal

talking of lawnmowers i bought one for £40, a secondhand bargain, had it serviced 3 months later and it cost me £65, seems bargains aint all they seem, as for the state of this country dont start me off , i am the original grumpy ol man,

Problem with Zed's and Garages is. The Boss takes on job of fitting turbo's to your pride and joy when he looks the thatcham book up it should take 10hours days and 1/2's work no problem. Car arrives and goes into workshop. All the mechanic lift the bonnet and start scratching there heads. No one wants to start the job so everyone runs for a Nova to service. Car sits for a week untill the boss notices it hasn't been started. Then there's a riot and if your lucky the boss is able to don his boiler suit and fix it himself. I've seen this happen so many times father had a Lancia dealership you see. Everythings difficult. Integrale 16v you have to take the engine out to fit a timing belt :)

He brought his PC round to mine for me to look at and we decided to order in some food as it was a long job.

 

Called the local fried chicken place for a family bucket type thing and the guy could hardly speak english but got the order OK.

 

5 mins later they called to check my address - JUNIPER WAY i confirmed.

10 mins later they called again - what did you order? FFS

15 mins later - What was the address? JUPITER WAY? No!

45 mins later - We cant find CHIMNEYPOT WAY. Well that's a suprise!

1 hour later - We still can't find you.
