it has to have a respray see my other post it was a bit damaged, thank for your opinion

If it's what YOU like then go for it. I like the fact that are so many different looking Zeds even if some of them aren't to my taste.

deffo go for it m8, and plus it goes nicely with targa.

It would look best with black wheels, wanna sell :D

Personally it's not my thing, so I've said no.

But it's your car mate! If you like it, go for it. Just coz I wouldn't do it to my own car doesn't mean I wouldn't appreciate it if it was done well on someone elses! :)

did you know that there are different colours of carbon fabric available now? even silver, my buddy works at radical motorsport and told me about this, i work with composites myself and it was news to me just last week, will try to get some samples ,http://www.manxbuggies.co.uk

Carbon look sweet,

AMZ does Carbon T tops and Escort Racing does Carbon doors although i really want carbon bits on my car but it's black not sure how good it will look may look odd don't really know.

wouldnt bother with carbon fibre meself either as bonnet is light enough allready and its alluminuim,, "cheers for info greg"

you could spray the carbon bonnet sharon! red over carbon then you would have a carbon texture still might look good

as paul said the oem bonnet is alli so light anyhow i expect carbon bonnet is heavier than alli

Like greg said you could have it red also melvin said you can get different coulour carbon i saw a car in banzai mag it was met green and he sprayed the carbon with a hint of green and it looked amazing. A hint of red might look nice and i was thinking one of the clever photoshop people might be able to do a sort of preview to see how it would look :D

didnt know different colour carbons were available either

I'd say no too, just doesnt quite look right IMO.

U could probably get away with it on a black car....

I,m Pig Sick

Personally, I think carbon bonnets look BETTER on brightly coloured cars than anything else. I think the contrast is brave, but striking.

Go on, y'know ya wanna ;) :D

sorry yami, just not to my taste at all. For me, it takes from the smooth lines of the car.

Carbon on Grey or Black..yes. On Other colours, I vote no.

The majority of people will think the car simply has mistmatched body panels waiting to be sprayed.

Carbon on Grey or Black..yes.

Totally agree.............

But i also think a carbon bonnet on different coloured cars looks great, if im the numptys think that you have mismatched panels, so what, if it feels good, do it.

Rich

MMMMMM Rice

If you want that pimp my ride look then you go for it. However I think the Z is a sleek sports car and this kind of stuff is of no value as it'll weigh a lot more than original bonnet, but if everyone though like me wouldn't it be great. :D :D

HAHAH! Mark,

Everyone that lifts my bonnet says "Ohhhh, in't that lighter than a stock one"

I believe the  smilie has to be used!!

;)

Sharon, i voted No only because its not my Taste, but as others have said it aint my car it's yours hun, if you like it do it :D

All the Zeds are not to everyones taste :x:
