June 9, 200520 yr microsoft outlook has a setting called "out of office" where you can set your own automatc reply, every email you get will be replied to with this email. Also outlook 2000 and later you can have different responses for different groups of emails (for example if you have set up groups so friends, family, work, 300zx.co.uk etc...). Its fairly easy to set up, in outlook go to Tools then Out of Office Assistant. Ben
June 9, 200520 yr Chris .. do you leave your connection to the Internet on permanently then? The laptop will be powered on all the time you are on holiday? If not, and it may be me being a bit of a cock, surely you will have to arrange a auto-responder with your email provider as it will go to their mail server.
