Lo again guys, the car I'm looking at had one of these 8k miles ago, been browsing the forums and seena few of these apparently failing after low mileage.

Is there a known issue with them or is it most likely down to abuse?

Cheers.

If its the black swb that your looking at which i have a feeling it is then do a search, cant remember off the top of my head what the guys login is but i think he got the clutch sorted as it had a problem?? apart from that i dont know too much about them and the only reason i know about this one is i looked into buying the car before :)

That's the very car mate. It had a new clutch ar around 50k or jsut before that and has 60k miles now. My only worry is that the owner was delighted with the car 3 weeks ago and wouldn't sell but is now very happy to sell for a reduced price. Makes me wary but I do know the guy is genuine from other forums and does have cash to play with so isn't bothered about losing a few quid but still getting a lil worried.
