Been away from work for two weeks recently to sit some uni exams, came back to find the local authority had been busy.

 

This is a picture I took yesterday on my way home from work, the junction is about a minute from my house and I drive through it everyday. Its pretty busy as its on the inner ring road.

 

In the picture I am about 5 car lengths from the traffic lights, I'll try and get a closer one today.

 

Notice anything? Anyone want to hazard a guess at what's changed?

Is that a traffic light cam right behind the direction sign? I can just about see something sticking out under the sign itself.

Must be behind the sign. There's loads like that around here and on the North Circular Road. In fact a couple of the ones I go past every day cannot be seen AT ALL anymore because they let the bushes grow behind them so they are totally invisible.

 

Nearly had a major pile up this morning on the A40 when a SCAMERA PARTNERSHIP van carved me up from a slip road and forced me to squeel the tyres trying to stop. I nearly had to swerve into the next lane and would have taken out all three lanes of traffic. Still, we were only going at 40mph (within the speed limit) so that was obviously not a dangerous thing to happen as we were not speeding. :slap:

The camera is ringed in red, you can just about make out the pole its mounted on and maybe a little of the bottom right hand corner. It sits so close to the sign that you cant see it until your almost under it!

I can see something within the red circle. There is a strong rectangular shadow as well, which isn't v common on trees IIRC.

Just proves again they are much more intent on CATCHING people speeding rather then PREVENTING them speeding. Bunch of fookin pr1cks.

i got it. under the main sign poking out from the bush is a camera lense

problem is none of us do anything about it

as long as we get home from work and put our feet up to watch the TV everything else just flies by

 

other countries would have riots....

 

just one week ago everyone was causing uproar about the rover workers..

 

now its all been forgotten about

 

and thats a major issue!

its not in Leicester bud, its in Dewsbury. The only new cameras in Leicester are the ones on Vaughan Way and London Road, and they have been there for a few months.
