Just taken my ECU out but can it be remapped?

I am sending off my ECU unit to AndyP for a chip to be installed, but i was also wondering if it can be remapped out of the car or does it need to be in the car. Also is their any of you guys that can get it remapped if Andy does'nt know anyone and how much. Cheers guys.

    It doesn't need to be in the car bud ... Andy will remove you existing chip, socket it and give you a new lovely chip .. then you can change chips as you feel fit.

     

    A custom remap would be better in the car I guess .. on a RR

     

    Andy can do the map NP.. or JD or Ryan ...
