in my old zed if i switched the heater and econ on then turned the car off and on again the heater would restart at the temperature i set it (but with econ off)

in my swb everytime i switch the car off and on again the temperature resets to the default temp and if i had the heater on before i switched the car off it wouldnt be on when i turned the car on.

im guessing th that what happened in my old zed was correct so what's wrong with the swb?

Not too sure on this one, but sounds like the Air-Con Amp isnt receiving a permanent +12v supply.

Have a look through here and see if that helps.

removed the clock ages ago cos it didnt work.

whats the sun load sensor and where is it?

Sun Load Sensor is on the windscreen vent cowl on the passenger side, a little round disc. It measures the temp at the windscreen and is part of the Air-Con system.

thanks dave, just senn that thread in the members section. why would a dodgy SLS make my air-con reset everytime. i think i need to check all my fuses cos the interior light don't work either.

Don't know why a SLS would make any differance to the reset. But defo on the fuse side.

Thats is another thing that the constant live fuse being blown will stop working, the interior light. Its the 10 amp one marked up as battery.

Yip, had the exact prob as you Yas. Was defo the fuse that Richard (SUFFOLKZX) suggested. :D
