Holey Dilema

it's been raining hard for over a month now, but suddenly I have water dripping in at the front t top join to the roof...

checked rubber and seems okay but little confused to front drainage - on back holes I get thread wire down to floor under car but the front holes only have a 3mm depth...

How does the front drainage work then?

Cheers Robb

immediate bend after hole, then runs down along front pillar, and into a another pipe, which sticks out into the inner wing.

if you have the door open, look through into the wing and you should see a thick pipe sticking out

if you are dripping water down the hole and it's not coming out of there, then it is dripping onto your floor inside the kick panel...

checked all drainage holes and all working as they should BUT still have water coming in at join...

Seems 2 b a common fault mate. The best thing to do is as u have checked the drainage holes check;

1 - That the glass has the the little rod on it that slides up and down the runner, known for them 2 break. This can be found on either side. It sits behind the glass next to the door pillar and the runner can be seen when the window is down. If the rod id not sitting in the runner this can cause the seal between the glass and rubber 2 b poor and water can get in.

2 - If the door is silghtly out, adjust the door lock catcher which can be found in the doorshut and adjust it slightly inwards into the car. This will tighten the glass to rubber seal up top.

Hope this helps
