hi all, just bought rear brake light for spoiler ,,

mines a uk spec so doesnt have wires there for it ,

 

on the loom that is attached to the light there are two wires ,

one is green and red in colour..

the other is all black ,, im guessing the black one is earthed to car ,

and green and red is wired to positive , does any one no which postive on the brake lights i should splice this into, to get the light to come on with brakes,, cheers, paul

ok thanks to srrae has answered me qestion , common sense really , if you want to no how i did it, you can ask me and ill tell you ,, as have noticed when you do a search nobody says how or if they fixed the prob , !!!!!!!!

I fused both my feed and earth in the 2 wires I ran into the tailgate when I bought my spoiler brake light 2nd hand, but I have a Wings West mid level spoiler fitted with brake light and had a fibre glass copy made of the origional so it could be merged to the WW one, but I got the wire colours from a wiring diagram in the manual, well worth the money for DIY jobs like your doing Paul.
