when i start my car for the first time in the morning it runs lumpy as hell, if u touch the accelorator the revs drop dramatically, ive also noticed that when this happens i can hear a clicking noise coming from behind the dashboard on the drivers side. It sounds like a switch clicking on and off, this also happens without touching the accelorator the revs jump about and you can hear a clicking. Anyone know what this could be anyhelp please :smash:

Thats probaly a relay for the electric fan, give the temp sensor wires a waggle under the bonnet see if that cures it.

I thought it may have been the injectors as well ... espc as you are having some problems ..

just tried it again and it seems to be coming from the region of the accelorator, also would a noisy relay (or knackered) cause a running fault

i,ve got the same sound but it seems to b coming from a black plastic box inside the front drivers wheel arch, it looks like some kind of breather box. it sounds like gurgling when u take the inner arch out. can anyone help cos its driving me nuts!

its not the same as mine, you have an aiv problem you can remove them if you have a decatt, i think there is a link on here somewhere on what to do

When did you last check the condition of the battery? It could be on its last legs. These cars need an awful lot of juice to run.
