I am about to fit a uprated chip and a set of boost jets to my 300tt import auto, its said to increase the bhp to around 60bhp, I have no over mods as yet, Has anyone had this conversion and what dfference did it make to the overall drive of the car?

 

I am fitting an indution kit and some de-cat pipes later in the Month will this add to the fun?

there will be no difference to the overall drive of the car if the chip is good. You should only notice when you floor it and then the car will be faster.

It will totally change the overall drive of the car (I mean when you boot it of course!) If you can wait and get all mods done at the same time would be good. If anything, get induction and de-cat done first.

Another must if you have a JAP auto is an autobox cooler. It WILL prolong the life of your box.

id make sure the car is in good health before worrying about qtr miletimes its down to the driver,conditions id imagine if you decat,induction increase boost and run a safe chip the low-high 13s are achievable

 

altough if you de-cat there is the possiblilty of loosing back pressure to the turbos and causing premature seal failure,not seen many with problems.

60 bhp.......thats some increase with only jets....IMHO if it does do it good on ya fella ;)
