Headlight buyb removal

OK. I give up. HTF do I get the passenger side main beam bulb out? Do I have to dismantle the F******** car or am I missing a trick somewhere along the line?

lol patience.

they should just unclip.

Someone really needs to do a tech write up about his cause i abttled my arse of then got aaron to help me biggrin.gif

That was the dipped beam bulbs warren m8..

I *think* the only way to get the main beam out is to remove the headlamp unit... But I could be wrong on that one - I've never tried, just looked and thought "fuck me.. there's no way that's coming out in a hurry"...

bryane mate the near side main is the most awkward bulb to remove, often made worse by the connecter been seized on to the bulb holder.

1 remove intake hose to that side of the engine

2Pull back the rubber boot to the bulb holder

3Remove cable connecter,if can, waggle up and down if unable to still continue as follows

4 The bulb holder has a spring clip that goes anound the holder and at the bottom has two small lever points. You need to sqeeze them together and the bulb will release.

The poor access and strong spring action needs some pesistance but it will go eventually. The hardest one I have done so far was on Ben`s car ... took 35 mins of finger cramping pain, made worse by the connectors not coming off.

Good Luck Jeff TT

Easiest way I found to get em out was look fer someone with little hands!

My 12 year old nephew was able to get his hand in behind the light and unclip them!

Mind you this help didn't come cheap!-- I had to take him and his brother ice skating!

nearly broke three fingers attempting the bulb removal and me kneck skating!

Must be true wot they say-- as you get older yer dexterity and foot control go to S**T!!
