Whats a good clutch to get....running standard power and wouldnt be looking to go over 400bhp in future?

 

Was considering a RPS street one, what you think?

I can recommend the RPS street clutch that Smithy sells. I have one fitted and it has been brilliant. I am only running 14 psi and it can take it with ease ...

If i had a RPS flywheel done as well....would this affect the boost levels on the car at all or put any additional wear on the engine in anyway??

Wont affect boost levels, and if anything would put less wear on the engine as it has a smaller mass to turn.

 

Its a very effective mod, giving a much freerer reving engine....which inturn means more response and quicker acceleration.

And buying both together, saves around 70 quid ;)

pay the extra and get the max series heavier clutch but would hold even more power just saves the hassle if you want to go the full hog

Both should be 765 mate, can do em both for an even 700 quid delivered AND throw in an SGP uprated pivot ball, so saving 95 quid in total and yeah, that's the flywheel, that pic never comes up on me site :headvswal must sort it..

I have the RPS street clutch. Handles 15.5psi no problem. Close to stock feel when pulling away.

smithy .......why the favouritism mate ?? you wanted 30 quid from me for the fekin pivot ball :(( ...........when we agreed an RPS max clutch and flywheel .........only last week ....and as a fully paid up member for two years i would expect all members would get the same discount .............im not a fekin happy man right now !!

shall i remind you of the price your paying for the clutch ? being the MAX that's sat in my lockup right now cos it as the remaining one dragged back from Japfest.
