Wouldn't it be nice to have events like this here...

Featured Replies

We tried for a track day with just Zs, from the 240 to 350s. But it never happened. :(

Events like this would happen here if after the guys have put there names down to say there interested they were still interested after ive found out the price, which usually is circa £100/£140.

Ive made loads of enquiry's recently for prices of Tracks/airfields and its not cheap.

I might (and that really is a MIGHT) look at orgainising one for later in the year, but whoever puts there name down must pay the deposit asap.

Sorry i seem to not have explained my point here.......

I wasn't refering to a track day, and that's not what is in the pictures in the link I posted. In fact the only 'Track' type action was on a drag strip. I was refering to a large all Zed only event in a spectacular location with plenty of sunshine on the scale in the pics.

As for the cost of a track day, well that seems to be the problem in this country...... Everything is far too bloody expensive!!! Maybe Rockingham wouldn't be in the position it's in at the moment if they'd lowered their prices, thus encoureging more people to attend. Money, Money, Money is all the're interested in, but that attitude can, and does, backfire! Long term simple economics seems never to be the order of the day.
