Does anyone know of a decent wheel sprayer in the midlands that can make my alloys the same colour as the pic attached?

 

Anyone had any done before?

you could try an anodiser , in yell pages to see if you can get them stripped and anodised ,worth a try

I have actually sorted it now, £50 a wheel with refurbing them too!! Bargain!!

OK now not sorted as the guy needs a gold paint code.

 

I told him the same as the subaru gold wheels but he says there's 8 different shades?!?

 

Anyways, I have phoned the subaru garage and they dont list any gold codes for their wheels!! S, what the feck am I gonna do?

 

I need a code for a nice shiny gold similiar to the one above on the wheels.

 

Any ideas guys?

ill agree on black n gold ive meshed out the front of my bumper in gold and im having my brembo calipers refinnished in gold with the red brembo sticker on same for the rears cant beat black n gold

I have just put a request in to http://www.lap-tab.co.uk to see what it will cost tohave my standard Jap Spec rims sprayed gold.

I got a quote back from Lap Tab - they reckon £35 per wheel but I would need balancing refitting tyres etc, so when you add all this up (+VAT) I'm looking at £235 for the lot.

 

That sounds quite reasonable, certainly cheaper than a set of new alloys!

Wicked Wheels charge £65 per wheel (+VAT) just for a refurb without even mentioning spraying them gold!

 

I am still keen to see what the standard rims look like painted gold, is anybody good with photoshop?

Mark I used Pristine wheels in Milton Keyens. They collected and returned in 4 days. The wheels where done in Subaru Gold, they where shiny as fook, that was 4 years ago and they where used all year round for 3 years. They are in my Garage and still like new.

 

They charged £45 per wheel, which included any welding or repare, (one wheel was badly scuffed thanks to her in doors). I'm told they charge £50 now, but that is collected and returned.

You might try Bourne Powder Coaters in Digbeth. Their number is 0121 666 6595, they are quite reasonable and can do a very quick turnaround. They did mine last year and they still look great.

Mark I just remembered, that was without tyres. I had to get em off (ooower) and refit and balance at my own expense so I suppose it cost me about £55 per wheel. £60 these days.

Yeah thats fine mate, the missus dad has his own garage and does tyre fitting, although I'd be dead worried abou him scratching them putting the tyres back on!! :(

 

Isnt there a plastic horn thing you can use instead of a metal one?
