I think you'll agree a meet is well overdue this side of the border.

 

So how does mid-late June sound?

Although the last meet went well and there was a good turn out, i would like to organise something a little more 'interesting' :cool: .

 

Heres a few ideas:

 

Meet early doors and take the zeds for a blast. Maybe a wee tour round the trossachs? Weather dependent i suppose.

 

Rolling Road meet. Could maybe invite the sxoc boys?

 

Car shows. Not much in the way of car shows unless you fancy magazine days at Crail/Knockhill/ingliston.

 

Meet at Crail on a thrash day. Chance for all to take the zeds up the quarter mile etc and compare numbers.

 

If we can get the numbers up, it wouldnt be a problem to invite a magazine for a photo shoot.

 

Let me know what you think guys. Good ideas/bad ideas? Feel free to share any ideas you have. Whatever we agree is best, i'll get it all organised asap.

going for a blast sounds good, dont think you can beat the sight of a dozen or so Z32's in convoy.

I hope so ed. I'm taking the car down south on the saturday for some bodywork so i wont be taking that. I might have to go to a christining on the Sunday. If so, i'll have to give it a miss. :(

id like to meet up as well, now that im a subscribed member. im down in falkirk this week but im in Aberdeen most of the time. ive only ever spoken to one other guy with a TT :(

Yup. count me in too. Late June preferred. Anywhere, but with a manual box, would NOT run Crail (lets be serious, to be competitive with a clutch, you gotta drop it / replace it!). But I would still come along too. Trossacks? Yes, nice, we could enjoy ourselves mixing with the tourist traffic (on second thoughts...)

A nice run sounds good. a good blast up the A84 towards Oban/ Ft William would be good. Even just to Tyndrum/ Crainlarich then back down Loch Lomond side :)

Just a quick comment if we get several Zs together. The pics taken at the Stirling service station mightily impressed a US Z32 friend of mine. He was amazed that there were so many Zs in Scotland (cheek...). How about trying for a squadron of Zs all line abreast, across all lanes on a motorway, pictured from the front and back? It would require careful arranging, but could look very impressive....

The more zeds the better mate. It was quite a site seeing them all together in Stirling. Just a pity we barely had them all on the road together.
