removing windscreen wipers

anyone help me please? got the nut off, read the other posts but cant even find the thing im supposed to be pulling off...im trying to fit a new scuttle, the lhs is ok but i got to get the wipers off to do the rhs

    If you have removed the nut under the wiper cover, lift the wiper so it is at a right angle to the car, like you do when washing it, grab hold of it and wiggle it up and down :D

    I had major difficulty taking mine off. Heating them up with a blowtorch and using a wooden wedge with a hammer helped! :D
