Alloy Wheel Cleaner

I used to use WonderWheels and it was fantastic but now I have split rim alloys and it says not to use it so I need an alternative that is friendly to my wheels.

    Detergent in a spray bottle, wee soft brush, patience.

    Split rims probably don't like the corrosive nature of alloy wheel cleaner - gets into bits where it's not likely to get rinsed away effectively.

    Someone on here recommended Fairy Power Spray, we tried it and it works a treat. Just spray it on, leave for about 15 mins and wipe it off with a damp cloth

    I have polished alloys and use Auto Glym Motorbike Cleaner!
