ooh it's question time, debate lmao, but only if you agree with me

any knobhead who does 160 through a 30mph deserves all he gets

as i assume it means there are houses/schools etc??

yes the guy has got away with speeding, BUT don't forget who prosecuted him, the police, don't forget who saw the video and didn't try to cover it up, the police, if anyone wants a good kicking its the moron of a judge who gave this guy an out by his comments, the ONLY thing about this case that would worry me is if this guy was ever given a speed camera and asked to help prosecute motorists

It's got absolutely nothing to do with agreeing with me or not and I resent the suggestion. I am not the only one who thinks the law is an ass? I didn't start the thread or the debate. The bike was just an example I never knew the twat. just shows what happens if you aint Old Bill. Get it straight mate. No wonder you got no mates.......LOL

in your short time on the forum, you've certainly adhered yourself to making "mates" and the nomates jokes is getting so used, im having to take

anti-depressants through boredom :nelson:

you have jumped over 3 people in THIS THREAD ALONE because they have a different view to you, and this coming from a guy who says he has driven his car at over 160mph, don't post examples if you don't want them quoting,

yes he got away with it, but from what I READ it wasn't because he was a copper, but a stupid arseole judge who recently found someone guilty of selleng bananas by the the pound instead of metric, and blamed his bosses for buying the force such a fast car

as chewie says maybe a chill pill is in order, rather than getting stressed over something you've got no control over

i'm off out now to get some speeding done and get on with something that matters lol

oh nice edit btw;)

they best get ready for a load of problems now because solicitors can use old cases when in court and you cant do one with out the other!!!!

big boy racer problems now

I'm not justifying the police officers actions, however, we are not in possession of the full facts and as such are unable to draw a reliable conclusion to these circumstances. Granted it sounds ridiculous that he has been cleared but we do need the full facts. The police have a hard enough time getting the job with the lack of support from the public, ie I saw such and such do this but I'm not making a statement! Well that will get a conviction....NOT! Everyone is too eager too slag others off without knowing the full facts. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and if found guilty it must be beyond reasonable doubt.

The police does not tracks to test vehicles on either and they do have to keep on top of their driving skills and from my knowledge of police driving courses safety is paramount and they are very intensive, they do not just say here are the keys. He will have undergone at least 10 weeks intensive driving instruction. The courses are hard and they do have to keep up their skills. Again I feel 159mph seems too fast.

What people do not realise that there are a lot of people out there who think they are good drivers but they tend to be the worst because they are over confident and normally arrogant which makes them dangerous. Just because you have never had an accident either, they may be down to luck. You may have made risky decisions and got away with it but a police driver is constantly accessing road conditions, etc... and deciding whether to continue. If they can justify the speed they are travelling at and the situation warrants it then there should be no problems.

Finally you would not believe the obstacles police officers have to overcome to get their job done, they are continually have to explain their actions. I can assure you in everyday driving police officers are not above the law although the Road Traffic Act does provide exemptions and until we know the full circumstances of this particular incident none of us can pass judgement.

I know I have gone on a bit but it annoys me when people make assumptions.

I,m sorry Yampiedog but if the bloke was doing 159mph with no warning sirens

to let people know he was coming then what chance would anyone have to get out of harms way... for that matter even if he was warning people he was coming how fast could you react if you were doing 70mph with a car coming up on you at 159mph think about it 89mph thats like you running across the motorway trying to get out of the way of a car you would panic anyone would and heaven forbid say youd had a blowout and were stuck in the third lane he,s doin 159mph not even shumacher can react that fast to get out of the way just look at what happens in formula 1 when it f**ks up it f**ks up BIG TIME.. THE HUMAN BRAIN CANNOT REACT THAT FAST its a proven fact. All the training in the world CANNOT prepare you for the unforseen. I have been in a car at 156mph not (driving it but passenger) and we came up on a van overtaking a car he was doing about 65mph and i am not kidding i shat myself caus we only just got out the situation caus the van pulled in after passing the car we didnt have the slowing room. DO THE MATH

brain reaction x what to do x doing it = SHHH***TTT !!!! Luckily this T*AT didnt come up on anything

I'd say usually you can see upto about half a mile ahead of you on the M54. So if you carn't slow down in that kind of space due to slow brain function the I doubt you'd even be inteligent enough to find the fooking door handle never mind incert the key and start the car. Speed doesn't kill any one or cause accidents. Its driving beyond what is safe at any given circumstance.

The usual reason for this is peoples inflated oppinions of their own abillities.

Now we could argue about this all day, but really is anyone on here honestly suprised by this case. What ever the fors or against. He shouldn't have been driving at ya speed on a public highway. Well if I carn't why should he.

Must admit, surprised that a Vectra goes that fast TBH!!! PMSL :D

Fair play to the motor. ;)

Sorry a T-5...Vauxhall would fall apart at that speed!

seems like everyone is getting a bit touchy about this thread (having a go at one another instead of the copper) this is my final post on this thread as its getting personal and i dont want to make any enemies on this forum, so sorry if anyone doesnt agree with my posts on this thread its just my opinion

Sorry a T-5...Vauxhall would fall apart at that speed!

lol no m8 it WAS a vectra

Ludlow Magistrates Court had previously heard that Pc Milton had taken a newly-commissioned, unmarked Vauxhall Vectra car out on a night patrol in December 2003 to assess its capabilities

Sorry a T-5...Vauxhall would fall apart at that speed!

I read it was a New Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6

Now thats very wrong...who thought up the idea of letting a vauxhall achieve those speeds

Here we go again with the new boy syndrome. Just because I'm new to this site don't mean I was born the day before I joined?

Well I'm just as bored with that as you are with the billy no mates thing?

What do you mean adhere to making mates? And nice edit? you are making it personal now??? I dont see you have a bash at any "long term members?"

It appears that when you are new to this site you have got to keep your thoughts to yourself??? No sorry that aint happening.

I have made contact with some very nice understanding people on here. And some others too!

Yeah and stop picking on newbies FFS! :D

I agree with everyone. Especially me. I think I am wrong too. I also have no opinion about it. In fact its up to you. What was the question. Sorry for getting involved. I wont let it happen again.

That should do the trick?

It was the station that reported him!!!

Any idea what car he was in? Must have been something a bit tasty!

On 5 live last night they said it was a 2ltr vectra, go figure, not sure what the 150bhp one goes like but it must have been a bloody long stretch of road LOL.................

but it must have been a bloody long stretch of road LOL.................

That is what that :xxx: should have got!

A bloody long stretch .. with all the queers. Pass the soap please

I think that Copper should get his Vectra entered for TOTB this year! He'll trounce everyone I reckon. PMSL

Rocket Ronnie?? Pah here comes the Blue Flash to steal yer Skylark thunder in his tricked up 5'O Vectra!!! :D Nee nah nee nah nee nah.

Sorry to offend the m54 or whatever it was MARKZX but just how far can you travel at 159mph in 5 seconds was it dark ovecast or was it a perfect day ? like in a simulation i dont think i know anyone who can see half a mile and tell me whats going on clearly. I am P**sed off with the 3 Coppers who got away with driving at that speed YOU CANNOT REACT properly at 159mph i dont give a s*it who you are or how straight and CLEAR the road is.....

anyway enough lets not fight between members about a helmet head because by the time the public have shouted about it enough i hope he gets a desk job and the judge gets retired
