not really got any work in particular, just wanna be prepared!

 

at the min i been going to zedworld (decent guy jeff :) ), its just a long way to go just to have minor work done.

 

just thought if there was any one "local" thats pretty handy with a zed its worth knowing.

I've had some work done at Atkins Motor Engineers in Malton (in between York and Scarborough) - they're Nissan types, reasonable prices and the work was good. There's also a place called Distinctive Cars York which is in Strensall (near York) - not been there yet but seem to have a good reputation.

has anyone got the number for Z cars, my baby isnt boosting right but the turbos are working. I am at -7 on the boost guage and she doesnt move anymore.

Theres mikey bean in doncaster who does zeds.

Several people recently have traveled to Nottingham to have work done by forum member Mark Derby.

They have all posted up good reports afterwards...............

Its always tricky on recomendations.

Its one reason why the club doesnt get officially involved .

i too use Mark and am very pleased with his work. However he is local and he is a forum friend too.....before anyone jumps up to mention it.

Even more tricky for me as Im friendly with Mikey too.

 

No doubt other will be along with further suggestions.

Although jeffs(zedworld) is a fair trek noone can beat him on all round knowledge and his abilities to sort a z out efficiently and at a fair price.

But any of the other places previously stated are capable of fixing your z too.

Youve probably got a vac leak, why not check your hoses first, before venturing out too far.
