Ok,

Have Apexi induction kit, and a big noisy exhaust :D . Any idea how much hp this is at the minute?

I take it a boost controller is next. Im leaning towards an Apexi avcr, do I need to get a chip for the ecu. Car is a 1990 jap auto. Or can I just throw in an avcr, Has anyone on here posted a fitting guide apart from the twinturbo.net one (have searched extensively)

Where do i get these, bear in mind postage to Dublin, Ireland, cheers

Kersh.

You should ideally fit an upgraded ECU Chip at the same time as increasing boost. A number of the traders can provide these. The JWT is a popular safe choice and should be less than £100.

if you dont want the initial expense of a Boost controller now, then Boost jets will have the same affect (without the extra control of adjustable boost, and with some possible risk of boost spikes) for a few pennies.

As Legrath says...and....

But id be wary of any cheap APEXI AVC-Rs ....there has been a recall on all units made within last two months so if there any cheaper than say £240 id be carefull.

Buy from an established company or one with good feedback that will handle any issues you may encounter but do shop around as costs can be extorsionate depending on where you look ;) ...i have seen same unit for £350...LMFAO

I payed less and receive excellent customer service and support.

There are other boost controllers out there that others will recommend so its just down to your personal preference really.///have a good shop around

Do a search on "boost Controller" or "AVC-R" or "PROFEC" and have a read

It's worth noting that incorrect set-up by users and 'fiddling' with boost levels is a far greater risk with boost controllers, than brief boost spikes with the cheap and cheerful jets (assuming that they're correctly set-up) !
