I don't belive it !!'

Looking forward to going to Japfest next week ; took the Zed out for a spin the other day and guess what..............

I now have the dreaded missfire and Cat warning light. :headvswal :headvswal

So having looked through the history of problems with the 'Cat over heat' looks like I have some checking under the bonnet to do  .

Life goes on, hey ho.....

do an ECU diag first, then also worth checking to see if the AIVs are blocked/filled with water, have you heard a lot of gurgling from either footwell?

I guess it could be unburnt fuel in the cat also or maybe collapsed cats, in which case just chuck em and get testpipes ;)

Ok I know this sounds a bit stupid but mine did exactly the same. I was told to push all the plug leads down and it solved it? It is a common niggle apparently?

You couldn't really see that the offending one was high unless you looked really close?

right oh marcus. i'll come av a look at the zed for you do the ecu check etc. but sounds like it's just a coil pack off, so unburnt fuel is going into the zorst making the cat light go on. i'll pm you me No. if i shrews tomoz for diving so might be able to get up there earlier depending on what time i fin work.

Yep, as Scubie says. Clean the coilpack, CAS and PTU connectors :)
