more than likly a boost leak.

Turbos can be changed while engine is inside car but it is roughly the same amount of time and labour as pulling motor. So if you are going to change them pull engine and fix all the bits and bos while your at it.

Check for boost leaks as to the whine you are getting. Is it like a whistle?

it is like the wine u get when you go up the road pritty slow when the car is cold but a slightly sound

well if its windy while you are not using the turbos how would it be sign of turbo failure?

it is when you are using the turbo thats when the wine happends

Hi Toger,

My turbos started whining..after another few months they were 'screaming' (at full boost)! TurboTechnics said the bearings were knackered when they examined them! (Which is a FREE service)

Call Turbo Techincs on 01604 705050 and ask for Giles for some advise.

Regards

My ones sometimes make a breathy whistle noise. But its not all the time. Is this a boost leak? What is need to fix it? Am I loosing much power cos of it?
