trust me he wouldn't be thinking of recon if he could afford new. he talking about upgrading whole engine at later date but he has only just bought car so he short of cash at min (he a tad unlucky with this). still need to know where the parts can be obtained and who we could contact regarding the balancing. at the mo all he has is a faint whistle when the boost first cuts in then as revs increase the pitch ges higher and the sound is drounded out by the normal noise from engine, also there is very light smoke from right bank exhaust, or something, which he thinks may be related. as i said isn't to bad at min but he wants to arrange everything before hand. :D

ok still need to know where i can buy a kit to recon my turbos have found a place to balance them but need parts before i can make arrangements to get my turbo/s outas taz shows above the instructions for how to do the repair was found on this site but still need new parts please help.........

Be ready to spend a lot of time doing it!!! trust me its an easyish job but the bushing retaners are a B1tch to get out and the new ones in without scratching the bearing surface.

ok mate am gunna do it at work. turbo techniques can balance them for me but i have one last question fbefore i undertake this job. what kind of penatrating oil should i use to on the turbine housing bolts. will WD40 do??? or is there another subtance i should obtain first. cheers

A bible maybe? ;)

yeah and some luck lol

Plus Gas or anything like that. The bolts have threadlock on them as well as rusting in place so they can be a right Cnut to remove.
