Spoke to Johnny yesterday ref...breather kit, apparently thre was a problem with diameter of some of the hoses on the kit..this has been resolved and should be avaliable end of week...

If it fits it's not faulty. Johnny originally had a problem in that some of the kits had the wrong diameter hoses - wouldn't fit. However, they spotted the fault when fitting one up his way somewhere and consequently the kit was changed.

I too have just rang the J Glo and he was not there. But I did speak to a lovely woman who asked if I was the Tim that rang yesterday? "No I replied, I am Timmy Turbo...he'll know who I am!" ROFL biggrin.gif

I do hope these breather kits materialise before I've got the top back on my engine - they'll be a damned sight easier to fit with it all apart..

 

I'm not holding out much hope though.. And if my other parts arrive I should have the car back together in three weeks..

Who manufactures the kit, can we not phone them i have questions which no one seems to be able to answer.

Ie why is the drivers side different to the passenger side?

 

this just seems to be one serious balls up.

 

yes i have and it just seems that everyone i ask dodges my questions. Im just trying to find out what the storie is and i get jumped on.

One of my friends who has a cossie had a good look at this kit and he says it does not make sence.

He then also told me how much it should cost. frown.gif

I was at Johnnies yesterday, it is not him that is messing US around but Turbo Technics. Not only did they get the diam of the pipework arse about face but then they twisted Johnny over the postage to all of us!

 

Chill guys, there are people on this planet that are about to drop dead of starvation FFS!!! wink.gif

but then i do have the wrong size kit on this car frown.gif

hmm no wonder i have air leaks all over the place, i have now replaced three of the hoses that came with the kit anway frown.gif

suppose ill be redoing the entire thing soon lol.

 

the problem the guys and i have timmy, is when you as a customer purchase a product and then send the money and have paid for it, you expect it on the date you have been told and you also expect a bit of service.

Im not having a go at you johhny, but ie look what happened when i phoned turbo techniques.

 

the service was the worst i have eperienced to date period.

 

I get very tired when everyone sticks up for all the excuses we have heard.

i mean honestly the more you let this go the more the companys take advantage of it.

 

I knwo if a customer in my company ordered somethign and it did no tarrive when it should have i would lose my job.
