Step away from e bay

its no good mate

its not frommebay its from a company

its still crap mate.

you have two turbochargers - why do you need to bolt on a hairdryer????

ffs - is this a wind up? post up the link - lets have a look at it

its still crap mate.
its only 300 quid, an for something that powerful, its got to be worth a try surely

superchargers are worse than turbochargers.

electric superchargers are worse than superchargers.

electric superchargers versus TWO TURBOCHARGERS.......

may be cheaper to buy a 100NX mate

yeah, your right, go get it, get two.....

why ask for an opinion, and then question it.......

hmmm - let me think about this for a moment ..

...

...

.....

supoposed it does work and puts a lot of air into the engine - well that would need more fuel - which means bigger injectors - if it's really powerful and 555's cant cope and you're running a pre'94 zed you need to go to a border rail 850 set up and even if 555's will suffice you need an engine map and since it's not standard you need a live engine map - and how do you control the boost (air intake) a boost controller ???

so just suppose it is really powerful you are looking at

hairdryer £300

border rail & 6x850cc £ 1,500

live map £500

ands thats just for starters

consider if it is really powerful and puts a lot of air into the engine, you dont alter the engine map or injectors the engine leans out and detonates a piston - well then you're taking about loads of wonga

there is no cheap route - you dont get something for nothing.

Regards,

alex

Looking at it very quickley, you'd have to remap the ECU for more fuel aswell, more cost, personally, I think the gain would be minimal, but it's your money, prove me wrong!!!

It was clear what you were on about, the electric supercharger does not take a lot of sense to work out does it ?

surely it wont take it above the 500hp that all the stock working can take or every one would be doing it,

oh ffs - just looked the link

15 more hp

you're driving a 300hp car ffs - fill up with shell optimax - that'll give you that - if you havent changed your air filter in a while do that - or change to a better one

Regards,

alex

edit: sorry mate - probably been a bit harsh - nitrous is a good idea though :hyper:

****,i give up..

sorry mate, your totally right, get it quick......be the first to get it....

it will be awesome

Wouldn't a supercharger restrict turbo spool-up massively. Do a search for Burf2000 - the last bloke to consider fitting one

already have a induction kit running on optimax already, remaped ecu with chip, switch coming out of the ecu to switch between two different circuit setting, in process of getting nos, deciding which kit to get, decat on there way, straight though from the cat already, bailey type blow off valves, just thought this may be a bit more hp as well,
5. How much HP gain can I expect?

Answer: Gains on stock 4 cylinder to heavily modified 8 cylinder engines have yielded 4-6% increases. That's 5-15HP depending on your base flywheel HP. If you are removing a stock air-box, gains for cool air tubes and cone filters are up to 5HP by themselves. The e-Ram with its 5-15 HP adds to ALL OTHER MODIFICATIONS, so with an intake tube will give over 20 HP of total gain for the e-Ram + intake system.

i think that says it all

I had one on my N/A for about 3 weeks then sold it to a chav with a punto turbo, the difference was very minimal i barely noticed it you are better off without it the only decent superchargers are the exaust flow ones like fitted to mercs extra, sorry to p1ss on your bonfire. on a plus note if you do buy one and you find it is shite you will have no problem selling it in the paper as millions of chavs rang up about mine. ;)

any one heard of or got an eletric supercharger fitted to there zed, just about to buy one??

never heard of one myself!! so cant really give much advice on it, but what i would say is many of these guys are pretty clued up about the zed...........if they say its bad i would personally stay away and save your brass....up to you!
