Got a 90 reg TT with JDM brain and profec B 11. prob is engine keeps flooding and am fed up with taking plugs out and having to dry them before car will start!!

Also the electric fan has started to come on all the time today!!

Is the sensor for this the one next to temp gauge sensor because it doesnt make a difference to the fan if i unplug it

Paul,

You are correct, the two pin plug ( yellow) is the engine temperature sensor, a poor or broken connection here will give a corrupted signal to the ecu fooling it in to overheat protection mode, this increases tick over slightly powers up the air condensor fan and overfuels the engine, all of this is aimed at cooling an overheating engine.

Of course your engine is not overheating so it just floods the plugs, disconnecting the sensor will have the same effect, what you need to do is clean up the connection with WD40 or somthing similar and clean with the end of a craft knife or similar, closing the connector up slightly too will give a better connection.

Hope that helps
