Cheers Legrath. I take it that the SLD I have fitted restricts it to 180kmh? If so that is only about 110mph!!!! Thats no good to me......LOL.

Is it a case of disconnecting the old one and connecting the new?

Dont know what this car will do yet coz i've only had it about a month and only done 4 miles in it!!!!!!!

The 180kmh is standard from japan (112mph), the sld

you have fitted bypasses this, think it will let you

get up to 155mph, maybe more

sideshowbob - when you say the one I've fitted do you mean the one with the silver 180kmh written on it or the one with blue writing? I aint changed anything by the ecu at all............yet!!! LOL

Basically....... the silver one is restricting it to 112mph or letting it do top speed?

He's saying the box that has been added allows the car to use its top speed, I would have said the hicas lock is, as it says, and is an alternative to the mechanical one you fit to the rear Hicas system.
