When the Zed came out it was described as a Porsche 944 Turbo and 928 in one.

ย

The 944 being the No.1 sports car of that time, the zed handled just as well, matched its lap time, but had the more comfortable ride and smoothness of the 928.

Perfect :D

i found driving the 928 far from comfortable or smooth, like driving a mini with the shocks welded up

Really??

The ones I drove were all excellent drivers, anthough Nissan's testers could still lap the Nurburgring quicker than Porsche's top testers could in a 928GT back at the launch of the 300ZX :D

ย

I always liked the 928 and the last few GTSs were supposed to be "The Daddy of all GT cars....."

ย

That said, I was looking at a few 928 S4s before I bought my ZX and you all know which one I chose ;)

That's got to be pretty good for a stock motor in my book - I mean the record is around 7 mins 49 in a very highly modded Blitz Supra. It beat the record previously held by a Skylark .........

ย

......unless someone else has bettered that since
