Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Anyone know if s/s brake lines are available in London/ south east for the Z........

You might try a motorcycle garage, they can possibly make Goodrich hoses to order.

SE do 'em I think. I saw some Goodridge lines the same as the ones I got from Phuong in the US in their display cabinet.

Or try Johnny at GPS he da man! Number 01942 671239 wink.gif

SE, MJP and many others will have them.

Johnny could get you a set, but that will take a couple of days. You can get them made up at many places, but they will either need the originals to copy, or the full spec.

If you can get the parts they are dead easy to make, did all mine for my bike, just bough a few yards of hosing and the appropriate ends (s/steel, cadnium, annodised etc) from Harris Performance in Hertford and made the lengths I needed.

Or you can try smithy at cybercraft, we do them £55.00 , anyone interested e-mail me, oh and that's 15squid cheaper than down essex way, smithy

Try these people http://www.bsr-aerotek.com

They use Goodridge in their Motorflex kits. They do a kit for the Z (fitted to my Z), and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the price. Give them a call on 01386 849060.

smithy smithy smithy smithy smithy lol

you go boy,

i am thinking i might need some to.

Has anyone had experience with them andfound the differences on the zed?

Got them fitted on me own car, we all know the Zed's brakes ain't the best, stainless lines will not flex under pressure, can help restore some stifness in the pedal and last years longer than the original, anyone upping the spec of their brakes should invest in a set of stainless lines, smithy

Got them on mine but didn't notice any immediate difference. If you do notice a difference then you're probably putting them on too late ! biggrin.gif
