Are all yellow ZX's only early cars 89/90? Is it true early cars have dodgier engines and autoboxes? Any yellow Uk cars? All pearl or any bright solid colours? I must have a yellow fixation. Anyone got a nice cheap ZX for sale ? ............in yellow!

In the UK only the first batch of cars were "Sahara Gold". This is pearlescent, I am not aware of it in a solid finish.

 

One of the guys on the forum (tony) has a very nice Jap Import yellow 300. I can't remember his screen id.

As far as I'm aware the following colour codes correspond as follows:-

 

Yellow = tastes of banana

Red = tastes of strawberry

Purple Flip = tastes of Milk Tray chocs

Green(very rare) = tastes of lime

White = tastes of gay boy love juice...although I don't know for sure, just what I've heard! LMAO

Black = tastes of coal(ask any pregnant woman what that tastes like...strange creatures)

Silver = tastes of errrr...well nothing really, maybe Beni or Bjorns underpants out of Abba

Midnight Blue = tastes of meths...yummy!

 

 

To answer your question though Ant, early cars are OK, it is rumoured that they have weak heads etc. But everytime I mention this I get "don't be stupid!" so obviously not that true.

 

300ZX's are very complex and need alot of careful care to keep them going, especially when you're talking about 10 year old cars with nearly 300 bhp that have probably been well and truly thrashed by the time we get our hands on them!
