Can anyone help

Hello Z owners

 

I was driving along my local dual carraige way last night at the normal speed of 70moh (u no wot i meen) when i took my exit sliproad and to my shock my z just died on me, i pulled over stuck her back into park then started her up and it was ok.

 

has anyone had a similar problem or would anyone no wot this could be cheers :mad:

could be the ptu playing up. Series '1' PTUs have a tendency to go at just the wrong times (clever little things). If it starts happening more and more often, (and you find the car starts up ok after a few minute's cooling down) then its quite likely the ptu. these are £50-ish for 2nd-hand series 1, or £80+ for series 2.

also, do you have aftermarket BOVs fitted?

No mate havnt any BOVs fitted giv it a good run tomorrow see if it happens again if it dus il prob invest in ptu
