Okay have given this a good coat of looking over, how the hell do you get the bleedin headrest of the front seats, last stage of the re-trim and what should be easiest part, is starting to baffle me :(

I had exactly the same problem. Its been a while, so trying to remember, but I think there was a circlip underneath the cloth, that u have to pull out, then you can press in the little button on the headrest mount and pull the whole thing of.

 

..or something like that !

Okay, i want you to sit in a quite room, close your eyes and think back to that day :p you remember being pissed off not knowing where or how the headrest comes off, then after a while you sussed it :hyper: the circlip, where excatly was the circlip, the little button, you remember that little button like it was just yesterday, now where excatly was it, ahh now it's coming to yer, so in stages this smithy is how you take the headrest off.................................... now finish the problem :p

From Legrath's own pic, I've done this.........

 

Circuled in red is a plastic section with a button on it, this is normally under the material. If you press the button inwards then the headrest should come straight out. The button may be on the inner side or (as mine was) the outter side.

 

Or at least it did for me :D
