It wont work under 30mph and it wont work over 100mph.

Id yours a manual or Automatic?

Go on the motorway and set the cruise control on, you want a time when it doesnt work. Then put your foot under the brake pedal and lift it up a little and try again. If it then works, the brake pedal switch is sticking.

its a jap manual, converted from auto. know it wont work under 30 or over 100 (like i would do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!), but it still doesnt work in between.

Mine neither and mine is also an auto-man conversion. Never managed to work out the problem though ...

it was dodgy when it was an auto, then got the conversion and worked for a bit, then packed up again!

maybe the switch needs adjusting at the top of the brake pedal

never had a problem with it not coming on, but din't no it was ment too come on at 30 MPH. mine's always come on at 50MPH and no lower???. dont no the top speed at what it won't work. better find a stretch on private road to find out when io get it back.
