Thats been going round for ages, obviously the computer aids didn't help him!

I've got a feeling I read somewhere that the driver survived but could be wrong!

Must have been turned off to go sideways like that surely?

Nope, skylines were designed to oversteer, if you drive them properly it will not understeer, they are VERY easy to rap up like that, seen it so many times!

You can't turn any of the computer aids off on the '34 anyway.

Thats what annoys me when people say the have so many computer aids, the only aids they have are:

Power steering

ABS

HICAS

ATTESA, diverts upto 50% power to the front wheels WHEN the rear loses traction, they behave like a big power RWD until the rear starts to slide, then the fronts grip. You can disable this on R32 GTR's by pulling the fuse, but I wouldn't recommend it!! ;)

You can drift them pretty well, there are a few GTR's used in drifting competitions, I'd say they were a little more difficult than a RWD to drift well, but just as easy to spin out.

If you are interested, watch the GTR DVD by Duke.
