i count meself lucky when i read some peoples horror stories:(

going back a few years i used to follow Liverpool all over the world, and very often as you do when your with the lads, one drink used to turn to another

one night into another, one country to another lol

and all i used to get when i arrived home was, why didn't you phone i was worried about you, end of, and a lot of years later i'm still as happy as "them" days, i spend absolute fortunes on cars and gadgets, but most important loads on her as i reckon she deserves it, BUT, diamond she is she never asks for bugger all,

 

so not sure what the answer is m8, maybe a massive piece of luck, and don't take the piss (too often ;) )

Mine does'nt really make any complaints about the Money I spend...but I'd have to admit that if she continously spent the same sort of money I spend on the zed all the time, I'd be the one having the moan !

Luckily Julia is pretty understanding about my desire to lavish money on my other love, the ZX :cool:

 

OK, she does make the odd comment but that's just to take the piss :nono:

 

We pretty much keep out finances saparate, I pay for all the household running costs, for 2 of the 3 cars and the holidays whilst Julia pays 80-90% of running the 3rd car and buys whatever she wants from her own earnings.

 

Works pretty well really as we have no arguments over money and I get to buy whatever I want without having to ask first :cool:

Since Xmas almost all my disposal income has gone on the Zed and as long as I take the missus out to dinner once or twice a month, she's cool.

 

I cant ask for anymore than that.....althouh she wants to a book a holiday soon but I need to get the car sprayed in time for JAE.

 

I am thinking my cars goin to be looking standard or I'll be single @ JAE with a sh1t-hot lookign car....

 

Hmmm.....holiday it is I think, she deserves it...

All they need (woman) is alot of love and attention. She does not ask for much. I on the other hand need a new tt motor since mine popped. She's gonna get a lot of lovin'......lol

living on your own has the great advantage that every evening and weekend I can do what the hell I like and as I live alone, I can have a party or peace !

Depends on who you marry mate, find the right one and you shouldn't have any problems like that... Marraige is bliss for me, been nearly 7 years now together and we've only ever had two what could be classed as "rows" although it never even escalated to shouting level!

 

Like it's been said, they need attention and reassuring, and it's a happy harmonious existence :)

Yesterday after mowing the lawn, I was reeling the extension cable back indoors whilst simultaneously admiring the ZX in front of the garage. I had been in a fixed state of staring for at least 5 minutes when Juila reminded me of her presence. She actually asked whether I loved her of the ZX more...

 

...I replied "You of course, but it is pretty close :D "

 

I meant that as a compliment, knowing how much I actually do love the ZX ;)

but fortunately she fully understands :rofl:
