what he said

Yes it is expensive. He has a web site about his Z and on there he said that he wont tell how much it cost but it was VERY expensive.

I painted my other car in blue to green flip paint, and it's not as expensive as people would like you to think.

the paintwas £135 per litre, it needed a base coat at £20 a litre, adn the rest is normal stuff......

Depends what quality the flip paint is, thats the cheapest I've heard of it being, but it's usualyy £225 for cheap copy type stuff, to £1200 for really good stuff, and you can tell a difference, the cheaper paint is blotchy and you can almost see through it, (not enough pigment), whereas the expensive paint, DuPont, (which TVR use), etc you can tell its good quality, the colour change is very clean and its a very solid looking paint.

The paint on that one looks like its good quality, from the pictures at least.

I still like flip painted cars when they're painted in quality paint, theres too many saxos etc that have been painted in cheap flips and have spoilt the effect.

We painted a Scimitar in House Of Kolor flip, not too expensive, about £265+vat a litre, and materials alone were £2,500.
