Please Help Hesitation and power loss problem

:headvswal Hi I have a late 91 TT I had a very slight misfire and hesitation witch got worse over time. After lots of money taking it to be checked out by specialists and changing the fuel pump, fuel pressure dampener, fuel pressure regulator , fuel filter i tested it with different coil packs, with no change the car suddenly started running on 5 cylinders (this happened over 4 months) then tested the injectors and found one was not working. Got a new one and after hours of fun taking off the Plenum and re fitting it the car ran fantastically for 3 weeks, then the slight misfire and very bad hesitation on acceleration came back. Cam belt has been changed new plugs cleaned the throttle bodies; I still have the same problem. I cannot believe another injector could have gone. the car is also running very rich on one bank, rev's are 1000 and cannot be ajusted, the computer has been reset and all diag codes are ok.

 

Can anyone help please

    I think your best bet would be to take to one of the Recomended Zed specialists such as Ztech. See Traders forum section for their details.

    Thanks anything is worth a try i need my power and performance back i cannot enjoy it at the mo.

     

    J14 M4, between Newbury and Swindon. http://www.ztech.co.uk His customers come as far as Scotland just to use him.
