just fitted pair of gaint trumpet dump valves but they dont make a sound, have tried turning the soft to hard setting on the top but still no whoosh, please help me :confused:

They dont make much noise if you have an auto. Yours auto or manwell?

auto,, but being super load trumpet type there should be some noise

Put it in park and blip the throttle a bit but be sensible.

Put it in 1st put your toe down on the gas hard and after a few seconds let it off fast and listen!! Psssst ....1st and second uses the engine braking but only by selecting the gear on its own/manually not in (D) Drive... ;)

Doesn't that type of bov have extra washers to tension the spring up???

or an adjustment screw at the bottom?

you may need to take some washers out!

Haven't received them yet .. and that email does work .. have tested it.

dont they have washers or something like that? .. can you twist the top?

you just twist the top clockwise or anticlockwise to adjust softer harder setting but not sure where to set it too :headvswal

they look abit like mine, someone else had this prob, you need to cut the springs down, I'm runnning about 14psi

Yep ... that sounds right, I have read this before ... cut down the springs a bit at a time.. not too much ... that should sort it ....
