I just went onto an old thread "what goes faster" and to be honest I dont understand why it was closed?

Why cant some of you lot have a bit of light hearted fun without falling out of your prams and starting a slangging match?

I enjoy talking and arguing about cars, but I can't speak for everyone else.

 

It's odd that posting information that shows a x car can beat y car is considered offensive.

 

If there is another thread that compares cars, I won't hesitate to contribute, even if I get "banned" for it.

I dont hold any grudges with anyone here, if someone asks for information or proof of something, I will gladly provide it. If people have doubts about something, then all they had to do was say it and I will explain the information to validate and justify it.

Anh I think you will find that most people on here dont give a monkeys shit about Supra times.Some like them some hate them I am the latter for what its worth.

If we went on the Supra board and started spouting how much faster our cars were we would probably get a ban and the thread would get locked after a dozen posts or so,infact there is a fair bit of history going back to both clubs.

You must remember, I didnt force supra stats down people's throats. I was asked by a 300zx member to supply it as "proof".

 

I don't really give a toss what goes on the mkiv board, I never posted once on there but I have enjoyed discussing cars here, that shows something.

Just a quick point to raise here, as I felt that Anh took a fair bit of harsh abuse (not that he did'nt dish it back out either) but he was not the one that started the thread, just replying to the thread...which was a discussion of Zed versus supra performance.

Your not supposed to, it was a question posed by another member, it wasn't a competition! If you are going to take everything on here in such a manner, then, maybe, you're in the wrong place. (Just IMHO)

You shouldn't beleive everything you read/hear/see on the net......... After all remember the BBC once broadcast a program on April 1st one year regarding Spaggetti growing on trees, people beleived them because it was a well respected BBC program! Also an American radio station broadcast The War Of The Worlds, and that created widespread panic!!

I'm not knocking you, but just chill out a little on the facts, just because they are there doesn't mean they are accurate, that's all.

It wasn't a thread about zed vs supra performance, it was probably an innocent thread about what was qicker between 300zx, GTO Supra and Skyline GTR, there is obviously history between zed owners and Supra owners, (as someone said), which is why it was turned into a zed vs Supra thread/argument.

 

How can you answer the original question, all standard cars, top tuned cars, bhp for bhp speed, how easily tunable they are?
