Nooooooo, just been to the bodyshop and found out that the hatch glass shattered when they removed it so its going to be even longer before I get her back. :headvswal :headvswal

Mine has been off the road for too long aswell - but well underway to being BACK on the road - and bigger and better. When I get that call from the bodyshop to say its ready to collect, I will revert back to being about 10 years old I think.

been out out day in her , roof off and tunrs pumpin ....one bloke came up to me and said " is that a v6 mate??" yes i sais , " well nice mate he replied !! ol yes the zed does it again !!!

Yep, went out for a drive this afternoon. Mate calls and I said I'm out for a drive (with the roof off obviously), he says fancy going out again because he hasn't been in the car yet. Well in the Z you don't need to ask me that twice. Blatted it round some proper country lanes for a change. Much more fun than the motorway. Although I have got into this slightly dangerous habit of thinking, "Hey, I wonder how fast you can go round this bend before the backend twitches." So far it hasn't twitched which is great because I'd probably fill my pants if it did but I am amazed at the way it holds the road (and doesn't lurch around) compared to my old car.

Zed been off the road for 2 years so i couldnt miss an opportunity to stretch the cars legs and get the roofs out. This summer is gonna be FANTASTIC!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Been to Nottingham today in mine, drove all the way back to Manchester with the roof off. Think Ive caught the sun a little.

Same here drove around all afternoon with the roof off :hyper: Brilliant, also being followed by Mujina with his off. Recon atleast 70/80 percent of Z owners were flying around blighty with the wind in there hair :D

word of caution,, do not go over 100mph if you have objects in back of car like a coat say ,or a scarf or a williams f1 cap , because with roof of a big hoover is turned on and everything gets sucked out,, lol ,,took me f""""ng ages to go back and get it all ,playing froger on the a3 , well in my case more like grizzly bear, playing dodgeball with the cars,, lol youve bin warned newbies,,

i was driving the z not so long ago,just entering the motorway slip put my foot down and my ciggy decided to leave my mouth and enter the fast lane,via the roof PMSL

 

wouldnt of minded but it was my last cig :headvswal

 

dont smoke in the z with roof off at high speed LOL

Another word of caution, dust the dash,hoover the carpet and take that fag out ya mouth or you,ll spend half ya time picking s**t out ya eyes like I did today.

But then who cares on a day like today.

All morning washing and waxing....

 

All afternoon caining it and smelling that burning smell from the gearbox...

 

and two roofs in the boot of course ;)
