Disc's & extra power for import 2+2 na

Seems like me disc's are slightly warped as when slowing right down the brakes lock catch and release if you know what i mean.

Any ideas cost etc & where . I'm in the west mids.

Does anyone know how much a nice exhuast system would cost

Ps. any ideas of a remote CL cat 2 alarm - cheap and cheerful

...carefull. Mine was the same when I got it. It improved when I dismantled the brakes, cleaned everything up - including the muck that had collected behind the disks where they touch the hubs (remove the calipers). However, it still juddered and grabed, next was to free up the pistons and grease with appropriate hydraulic grease - mor improvement. But being told the disks warped, I wend and got quoted £108 each (Jap import NA) from Nissan and eventually bought some EBC disks (approx £68 each) that only fitted with the aid of a 3mm spacer (£8 pair). The spacer lifts the disk off the self-centring device on the hub, so the problem was then minor vibrations because the disk was not centred. This changed constantly because you've got to only use 80 ft lbs to tighted the wheel studs. So, in my attempts to check this vibration, last week I dug out my old disks (aledgily warped) and put them back on with the addition of some Green Stuff pags - and bingo. No vibrations, and great stopping power. The original pads were Nissan.

...so, moral is, don't jump to conclusions, check every last thing first. Mine needed a new tie rod too.

good luck

ps cat 2 fitted by my local car electrics place cost me £90.

If your discs are not too badly worn then you can get them skimmed. I did mine and they lasted me another 10-12,000 miles.

SE do a nice exhaust as well as many others. You will get lots of "mine is best" replies to this question.

Warren with his lop sided one pipe "Super Dragger". Look at the post "caption competition" you'll see what I mean!

I am running SE front and centre section without cats. http://www.se-nissan.com The rear section is a Remus. The back sections alone from almost everybody will cost around £500 for the pair. Appx £200 for the centre section, can't remember how much for the front, but these vary according to the exact model/year of your car I think.

Best thing to do is go to the next meet and see / listen to them.
